Who is the player you look forward to seeing most next season. I personally cannot wait to see what we can do with Jarvis West next year. I think he will continue to be a GREAT kick returner and I see us trying to get him 10-12 touches a game next year. He's an quick, explosive, and FAST player and he should be a lot of fun to watch for the next three years!

I would like to see how the progression of our WR ends up. I am glad for the seniors to be graduating as they have had far to many dropped passes, and other mistakes that I am ready to see leave. Albert Gary, Josh Lenz, and Jarvis West (albeit his size) have very good hands from what I have seen in game play. I am ready to see their progression in spring camp.

Jarvis West is the easy answer, but I would like it to be one of these guys:
Ja'Quarius Daniels
Quenton Bundrage
Tad Ecby
Teddy Lampkin

Jarvis West is fast. But he had PLENTY of opportunities to break a TD on a kick return this season but didnt. I am not sure if his "elusiveness" is something he work on in the off season, but if he can do that I'm sure we may see 1 or 2 of those babies going to the house.

I can't wait to see Steele Jantz progress and take it to the next level next year.

I can't imagine your boner for Steele could get to a higher level.

I would love to see a runningback. ANY runningback have a break out season. If you notice, all the really good teams have a back who runs for over 1,000 yards. Our leading rusher was White with just over 700 yards.
With that, if James White is the man I want him to have the break out season. If not him, any of our fine running backs will do.

The return of Shontrelle Johnson behind a more exprienced and improved line.

Second pick: Hopefully a young receiver like Daniels or Ecby steps up. West is a pretty safe bet to be exciting to watch next year.

As a Chiefs fan, Jamaal Charles was the same same way his first two years. Also Dexter McCluster was the same way his rookie year... and has been getting better this year.. excited to see them in the same backfield next year assuming DMC continues to progress.

I think West will be the same way. Hopefully next year is the year he really busts out, but I have no doubt he will be a big time player his junior and senior years.

I'm really hoping Bundrage or another WR can bust out for our QB next year. Gary is pretty interesting as well.

Nealy, Bundrage and possibly Sam Richardson if you're looking for new guys.

Steele's next level is not what we need, he's not what we need at QB. Not accurate enough, not even close. He's going to be a senior and can't throw a ball even somewhat consistant to play D1 football. Not sure what CPR saw in him to warrant a scholarship? His mechanics are terrible.

There's only so many JUCO QB's out there. We were looking at a RS fresh and true fresh as our options.

So his weakness is something that can be learned and coached, but you don't think he can overcome that?

I'm assuming you don't realize that on top of being a better prospect and more talented, he also has a higher completion %, rating, and averages more yards per attempt than Barnett.. and since Barnett is already more coached up... he doesn't have as much room to improve...

He did play 3 of the worst 4 teams on our schedule though.
