Sounds like you're just a bad fan for not supporting your team.
It doesn't seem like Missouri really needed ME for this one...
Missouri Tigers vs. North Carolina Tar Heels - Recap - December 26, 2011 - ESPN
It probably does seem like me rationalizing, but most of know you how I feel about the bowl system. (it sucks) Everyone b!tches that there are too many worthless bowls, but shame on the fans that continue to buy tickets and patronize these garbage games.
You want to support your team? Make a donation. Buy season tickets. Rather than blow a bunch of money on some bowl destination, I'd rather spend my travel budget in Columbia, or in one of the college towns in the conference.
Judging from the rows and rows of empty aluminum in Shreveport, a lot of other fans agree with me.

It's not that they didn't want to go, they just couldn't afford to go because they are all on welfare.
Or they didn't know where to go because they heard that the team was moving to the SEC and their Garmin couldn't give them directions.
You know who brags about fan attendance at minor bowl games?
Attendance was about 15K...about the same as a well-attended basketball game. You know what? Doesn't bother me a bit. Nothing says fan desperation like packing a post-Christmas bowl in Shreveport. Have you been to Shreveport? All I care about are wins and losses. I'm not so mindless as to blow a lot of money on some dumpy location during the holidays to watch two teams that never play each other. If I'm traveling for a football game, I'm going to a conference road game, with a better atmosphere and more reasonable prices. You know who brags about fan attendance at minor bowl games? Teams that don't win very often. I said it before: the only thing that should dictate post-season matchups is W-L record, and who you've played. When college football let southern C&V bureaus determine their postseason matchups, they did great harm to the sport. And if you think this bowl selection process is fair, then don't complain when you get squeezed out of a conference based on TV sets in your market, or something stupid like that.Great showing attendance wise at the bowl game.
The 8000 fans that stuck around to watch Davidson beat KU in the Sprint Center last week certainly think so.
All you care about is wins and loses...and you think goin to the SEC is a good move haha! You guys have fun.
Well, that AND who you play.
You can't say in one breath that the Big 12 is just as good or stronger than the SEC, and THEN claim that Missouri is going to get killed when they leave.
Mizzou has performed well in the Big 12 for many years. Even if you think they'll never get another good recruit again, if they repeat this year's record (8-5) next season, wouldn't that blow your argument all to hell?
Sports radio in KC was buzzing about the KU/Davidson game, and this was just one day after the Chiefs beat the Packers. How long do you think they'll spend on the Missouri bowl game tomorrow?
Mizzou is going to get killed in the SEC.
So therefore CyBer, you would agree: SEC>>>Big 12?
