way to represent the SEC SEC SEC mizzou.
Looked to me like the camera views only showed the UNC side... may have missed it, but didn't see a pan of the Mizzou side.
Regardless, they are going to get killed in SEC.
Bigger question is ... why in the hell is the Big 12 associated with this horrible bowl? Same as Pinstripe?? Really? We need warm destinations, not these kinds of venues!
Its not affilliated with the Big 12. Mizzou got passed up by all Big 12 bowls.

At the Independence Bowl the cameras are on the press box side of the field and 80% of the fans (from both schools) are put on the opposite side of the field. With this camera perspective it should look like a nearly full stadium.
I think the fans on the press box side of the field are reserved for local sponsors of the bowl game.
Not a horrible thing the replace the worst fans in the conference. There was .002% buzz in KC about today's game. Missouri leaving has certainly locked KC as a KU city.
SEC SEC SEC!!!
The 8000 fans that stuck around to watch Davidson beat KU in the Sprint Center last week certainly think so.
I wonder what percent of buzz in KC Christmas generated?
Great showing attendance wise at the bowl game.
Attendance was about 15K...about the same as a well-attended basketball game. You know what? Doesn't bother me a bit.
Nothing says fan desperation like packing a post-Christmas bowl in Shreveport. Have you been to Shreveport?
All I care about are wins and losses. I'm not so mindless as to blow a lot of money on some dumpy location during the holidays to watch two teams that never play each other. If I'm traveling for a football game, I'm going to a conference road game, with a better atmosphere and more reasonable prices.
You know who brags about fan attendance at minor bowl games? Teams that don't win very often.
I said it before: the only thing that should dictate post-season matchups is W-L record, and who you've played. When college football let southern C&V bureaus determine their postseason matchups, they did great harm to the sport. And if you think this bowl selection process is fair, then don't complain when you get squeezed out of a conference based on TV sets in your market, or something stupid like that.
