Actually could be a good thing - recruits hopefully will see they can come in and play right away. If you're good you can play as a freshaman and start for four years!

People tried to spin the Texas blowout that way, too.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that I think it would have helped recruiting if we won.

We would have had a national championship years ago if that consistently worked.

I forget if KU was #2 or #3 but do you honestly think getting beat badly by a team ranked as high as them is going to affect the recruiting THAT badly? Anyone who commits to ISU knows pretty well what theyre in for.
