Guys don't for a minute think we don't know we are stepping up into a much better conference. Every game including IOWA STATE will be very competitive. I still think since we are both outliers and rural, we may develop a rivalry.

Not to mention ISU is the closest school to WVU geographically...

I actually did that with a friend once - a friend of mine owns farmland that had an old barn he needed to get rid of. He tore it down and then thought we could cook hot dogs and S'mores over it. Too bad the heat was so intense we couldn't get within 50 yards of it. It was fun chucking firecrackers into it, though...

In football, when has ISU ever beaten a team in a game where it realy mattered to them? If our conference rivalries and status are less than what we might like, that's probably the reason.

Well I think we have the most Florida kids of anyone in the Big 12 and though rare we do get a blizzard game now and then. Ironically our first game this year was far and away the worst day for football. Been almost perfect the rest of the way. So far at least.

I'm still not sure what to think about WVU in the BIG12. I'm happy on one side, but on the other a little peeved... WVU became my 2nd favorite team the year/s Slaton, Devine, and White played together, now they're in my conference. I'm going to have to choose another non-conference team to follow... :cry:

We have some snow and cold at West Virginia in the hills and mountains also but the game was at Rutgers. Not too far from the Atlantic ocean and a place of fairly temperate climate.

Thanks Bro, we need all the help you can muster as we are pretty down this year. Ole Stew(last coach) left the player pantry pretty empty and hopefully we can recruit some studs to fill the void. Hey wife and I both rooted for Iowa State several times in the past so put us as fans, conference now or not.
