ISU launches new homepage website

Iowa State should really show off pictures of campus on the front page, their website is so bland and this new one is too.
maybe it's the engineer in me but i like the nice, plain, easy to follow page we have now. all the main links are there and easy to find. it loads quick, looks professional
I agree that Iowa States Website is extremely easy to use and find information. Really, I think they could have kept the same format, but change the background to something different. But the new one looks nice.

I also appreciate the simple, clean design. Complex designs cause two big problems. First, they hide the information you're trying to find. And second, complex designs usually take a long time to load. I try to avoid the athletics web page for that very reason.
I like it. The current one is very boring. The new one is more eye-catching and interesting, yet professional at the same time.
I think the new design is great... It is still simple and easy to view/use like the current one, however it has a lot more design qualities and colors too it that make it aesthetically pleasing...
Good to keep up with the times too with the twitter feed of ISU staff/departments...

Im sad to see it change because I have been on the "students" page since June 2006...
