Also I was really surprised last fall that the IHSAA didn't have every school honor Coach Thomas.

One of the most compelling, inspirational, remarkable stories with a sad tragic ending I have ever witnessed. The compassion of the Thomas's, the town and courage of the Becker's is unreal. The award was most deserving for Coach Thomas, his legacy and his family.

I thought the Ed Thomas story was touching, but why not have Aaron Kampman, a former player of his, do the presentation instead of Butt Farve. I know Kampman was a Hawk, but that is not an issue tonight.
