I don't know what is behind his dismissal, but it must have been fairly significant. He was arguably our best lineman.

Ugh. That sucks. Moving him inside was going to make our running game even more dangerous.

Had to be something serious to go straight to being kicked off the team.

While it sucks that we are losing a starter on the OL, it may not be as bad as losing OL in previous years with the talent that has been brought in recently. I don't remember the depth chart, but this could give Jon Caspers and Zack Spears the starting spot.

Or hope hicks has his grades back up and is ready to step back into the role.

Drew Davis, 6'8", 337 pounds, was listed as the #2 behind Haughton on the spring depth chart.

I imagine a combination of him, Sean Smith, and John Caspers will get a chance at the spot. We seem to like leaner tackles and bigger guards so I have a hard time seeing Lictehnberg or Spears moving inside unless they put on a lot of weight.

My biggest worry isn't the physical attribute but the 17 starts we lose from him and his experience with the checks and line calls.

It is always nice when the o-line has experience.

SH was not just a starter, but a star in the making. The guy is huge and NFLers have been talking about him for a couple years now. He will make a huge paycheck oneday if this issue doesnt derail him. Prototype NFL o lineman. Big, strong, long arms, mobile, atheletic. Who knows, too bad all the way around. Man, what a bummer.

This one really hurts.

He will not have trouble finding another school as long as his grades are in order.

I will be ****** if he ends up at Auburn.

sucks to lose him. i think he was our 3rd best lineman after KO and laamak, but all 3 were guys i thought would play pro ball. i think caspers will win the spot. we have solid depth all across the line IMO.

...i wouldnt be shocked to see a guy like shaban dika who already has the size of a big XII lineman come in and make some noise. not saying start, because a true freshman starting lineman is incredibly rare but at least make an impression.
