Tough one because I could pick from so many I enjoy. Though if I had to choose one I'd go with Dorito's Nacho Cheese.
Apart of the question, when I was a kid there was a brand called Guy's Potato chip, anyone know if they are still around? Their barbeque chip was mint.

I still buy Guy's BBQ chips and have them shipped. They were and are still made in KC. I grew up in SE Kansas and it was hard to get any chips other than guys. As far as bbq chips go I don't think any compare to Guy's.

Garden Salsa Sun Chips are my favorite "chips". Guys went bankrupt at some point relativly recently and was purchased by the owners of the Somerset Ridge Vineyard and Winery in Paola, which is about 20 minutes South of the edge of KC.

Guy's has been in and out of financial trouble for a long time. When I buy them, I get them from Heartland Snacks which, I am assuming, would be an off-shoot of the winery you mentioned.

The only way I can stand to eat potato chips is if there is AE chip dip to dip them in. Otherwise I hate potato chips. For other chips, Cheetos, Doritos and Tostitos corn chips are at the top of my list. Not a big fan of any thing else.

Prefer local brands...Old Dutch (upper midwest), Utz (northeast, mid atlantic), Zapps (gulf south).

Hate to be technical, but Doritos aren't a potato chip...

Guy's are still around...

But the best potato chips are Sterzings...and I'd be willing to fight any man who says different...

OK, maybe not fight but I would argue for a really really long time...
Sterzing's for true potato chip, but the kettle jalapeno are right there also.

Poore Brothers Habanero...if you hate your colon. Which I do.

For a healthier side, I do like Sun Chips - garden salsa

I like a thicker, crispier potato chip. Art's & Mary's is a good local one, or Mrs. Vickies, Krunchers!, etc. For a regular chip available everywhere, I like Wavy Lays. For nostalgia, Sterzings. If given the choice of anything, I'd probably prefer Cheez-Its (esp. Hot & Spicy).

Any of the new Lays Kettle Cooked. Sharp Cheddar is my fav, but the Harvest Ranch and Jalapeno are great too. And they are about a dollar cheaper than any of the other Lays.

I second this, espically the Jalapeno ones. Even the Fasco brand is really good and a little less also.
