Re: The that have had a Vasectomy
Second, don't wink at the Doc's assistant and say, "What do you think?" :biglaugh:

Never had it done,
Father of 6
Right now I have 2 young girls about 20 months apart. If my wife allows me to touch her again and we have another girl, it's something I might consider.
On the other hand, I'm only 27 and wouldn't want to do it when I'm to young (in case I trade my wife in for a younger model and want to plant my seed in a 20 year old when Im 50)
Funny, I noticed the same Houston billboards, TSIPs or Aggies?
Do you notice any difference during intercorse at all? Does it hurt during? Did you suddenly start becoming more emotional or take up scrapbooking or croshay?
My wife says I need to get it done but I'm scared as hell. I will have to get a week worths of valium leading up to it.
Can you get a discount if you said Chris Williams sent me?
Yeah, I don't know if single guys totally comprehend this. We have a two year old and a 6 month old and I'm begging to get this procedure done. I have nightmares about having another kid, but the wife still hopes for one more down the line.
The day after my procedure, I was dozing on the couch. I was lying on my back and almost asleep when I detected movement near my feet. I opened my eyes in time to see my 3 year old son jumping high off the arm cushion at my feet to "get daddy" - as he had often done in the past. I had one chance, and I caught him in mid flight and held him high enough so that his swinging feet did no damage. I still wake up trembling sometimes over that one.
I had my vasectomy when I was about 38 - and it was no big deal. Don't worry, you'll be fine.
I did the no scalpel version from Iowa Clinic. It was completely painless, and was over in 15 min.
2 days of light activity and I was back jogging on day 3. I did a 10M run a week later, it was just no big deal.

My doctor only required two clear samples after. He has been doing the procedure for 30 years and never had a "reconnect". He tied the vas and cauterized, no swimmers getting by that roadblock. My EX wife, emphasis ex, took the nicer vehicle to work the day I got my done. Needless to say I drove myself in a crappy stick shift vehicle. Did not have any issues after the procedure but definitely milked it so I could sit around all weekend and do nothing but watch sports with plenty of beer being brought to me.
