I imagine Adam might find his way onto Iowa's NBDL team next year. It would certainly help put a few more butts in the seats.

Awww.... not good enough to get into the NBA. What are you gonna do with that Iowa education now? I hear Wal-Mart's hiring...

Business degree from Iowa will probably get you further than one from ISU. I am considering going to Iowa for my MBA.

Adam always was a 'Cornhole', he'd fit into the NBDL :baffled5wh:

I always thought the Wal-Mart references with Iowa fans was in conjunction with the fans that DIDN'T attend Iowa (or any college, for that matter:baffled5wh:). A degree from Iowa is just as good as one from ISU.

According to someone I know with ties to Iowa Athletics it sounds like Adam will probably play overseas before he would in the NBDL since he'll make way more money over there than playing here. Just a rumor I heard. Unless you feel you are that close to the NBA most of these guy won't play in the NBDL. However, I would love for someone like Fizer to wind up in Des Moines. I would bet you he would be 1 guy that would sell tickets with all the ISU fans around here. It sounded like they won't even know who will be on the roster until November after all the NBA training camp cuts.

It would be sweet to see Fizer put on a Corncob jersey.

It's interesting how much AH's stock has dropped since the season ended. I've been monitoring NBADraft.net and he started out as a high 2nd rounder and has completely disappeared in the last month. I know he was in the Portsmouth Tournament, but not invited to the pre-draft camp in Orlando a couple of weeks ago. I'd say he could probably find success in Europe, but otherwise the Iowa NBDL team would be a great fit for him...

Another interesting freefall is Glen "Big Baby" Davis. He would have been a lottery pick if he'd come out last year, and even though he's lost weight and is in better shape, he probably won't go higher than the middle of the 2nd round this draft.

If you're a one-dimensional player (shooter) like him, and you have an awkward shot and only make 36% of your 3's, it's REALLY going to be difficult to find a home in the NBA.

He's a poor man's Terry DeHere, and he never sniffed the NBA

Nice a Terry DeHere reference. Well if PJ Carlesimo gets a head coaching job there may still be hope.

Adam has the same problem that he had after his soph, and jr seasons, he can't go left, and he can't create a shot for either himself or his teammates. He is a terrific athlete, who has decent basketball skills.

He will be better off not being drafted, that way he can choose who he wants to try out for.

That's why the deal the Industrial Engineering department has to get your MBA along with your BSIE goes through Iowa to get the MBA part done.

My brother is going to his bachelor party and what he says that Adam is doing is sticking around Iowa down here and has many job offers since I believe his degree is some form of engineering and he is getting married this summer. There will be no European ball for him according to my brother and said instead that there is a stronger chance that he will be playing like someone said D League ball here in Iowa and he has also expressed a strong interest in playing the Capital City League next year.
