Look at our offense point total since Baylor. We suck. We have got to figure this out, because we should not be this bad.
Just don't have the talent guys. Walkons are the leaders of our defense, injury bug has really killed our momentum and don't see us winning against CU or Mizzu. Good first year for coach Rhodes overall, but damn it would have been nice going to a bowl. We are years behind everyone else in the Big 12 in talent though, it will take awhile to get to the point of being competitive in every game we play. I have faith in our coach though, just need the time.
DING DING right answer! The option play is an opportunity for a safety to hurt the opposing teams quarterback...that is the way the defense should look at it and it should be coached. I don't know what OConnell is doing, but he hasn't got a freaking clue out there today. It is all about punishing that quarterback...other teams do it to us. This isn't Dan Macarney boys club here....we got to play tougher and smarter.
It wouldn't be Iowa State football if we didn't get embarassed on national TV every once in awhile.
Well im one of those that sold my ticket for this game, about an hour ago i have already seen people walking back to the dorms towards Freddy
It will take 4 years to develop any d-line. Just so you know. Defense will be like this for about 4 years. Get used to it.
