He did the same thing LJ did to Tony Moeaki. I doubt you'll find many folks who agree with you.

Besides, Tebow will probably just rub his hands together really fast, touch the back of his neck, and be fine.

Nope, LJ never left his feet and went low, Moaki had to lower his head to cause the head to head... Tebow never moved, they guy went after his head, BIG difference.

Baseball players don't know anything about hitting. :jimlad:

watch it again. Tebow lowerd his head right before impact. Had he not done that, there would have been no helmet to helmet at all. I don't think he was going for Tebow's head at all.

Tebow lead with his head in the Tennessee game the week prior when running the ball...

Looks like a clean hit to me! The UK player was not leading with his helmet or spearing him and he had his arms around him for wrapping up! It's legit!

I always find it interesting how many people seem to hate Tebow and the attention he receives.

The guy is the leader of the defending National Champions, he has already won one Heisman Trophy, and his stats by the time his college career ends will make a solid argument for him being the best CFB player of all time. Add on top of all the FB stuff the fact that he is, by all accounts, a quality guy that has stayed in school for his full 4 years and I would think most would have admiration for the guy.

I guess he is one of these guys that people hate because he is not on their team.

He left his feet and went for the head, he had a clean shot anywhere he wanted and he went helmet to helmet, thats not clean.
and obviously you're a *****. the kid hit him the way you are taught. laid him out. when you get a shot on the QB, you make the most of it. Not saying that wanted to send Tebow to the hospital, but he wanted to be sure he felt that one for a while.

actually a lot of the Tebow hate comes from the media making him out to be god. thats why i dislike him. all you ever hear about during college football season is tebow tebow tebow.

The hit was clean plain and simple. It wouldn't have phased him if his head didn't hit the other players knee and snap forward.

The dude celebrating needed knocked out himself IMO....

So much for seeing what you hit... I thought that is how you are "taught to hit"

and Cycloneman, I would be more than happy to show you what kind of ***** I am...

Absolutely correct...the whiplash from his head hitting his own lineman's knee caused the concussion...not the hit from the UK player.

As for the celebration...whether Tebow got hurt on the play or not is irrelevant. All of this "me me me" excessive celebration is one of the things I despise most about sports (especially FB) these days.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Florida was drilling UK when this play was made...31-7 or 34-7. Nice play, get your arse back to the huddle for the next play because your team is getting their collective arses handed to them.

Besides, the guy that nailed him is a better man for having touched Tim Tebow.

Was watching the Colts last night. Wayne and Garson were making some amazing grabs, for big plays. Both just got up, dished the ball to the official and walked back to the huddle. :notworthy:

While in Buffalo, TO was practicing his end zone dances after a zero catch loss.

Great, because the goal now is to turn college football into the No Fun League as well (actually, as it stands, they're already for the most part ahead of them on that curve).

Granted, at that point they were down by 4 scores and he probably should have headed back to the huddle. But I'd rather at least see some emotion as opposed to just going through the motions and letting the game play out. Who knows if that would have been the spark to get UK back into the game...
