Heads up on radio for tomorrow (11-9-19)

Just a quick heads up on this as it might get confusing.

The Cyclone Radio Network will have a minor overlap tomorrow with basketball and football. Some affiliates might not be carrying basketball. If you have a question, call your affiliate to ask.

We will have the entire basketball broadcast on TuneIn for sure. It will be on 1460 KXnO in Des Moines instead of the Bus.

Many affiliates will likely carry MBB play by play and cut out of postgame to get to football.

A bit confusing but that's where we are at.

2020 Commits Stats & Senior Performance

Time to get this going with high school hoops cranking up.

Dudley Blackwell is playing for a loaded Huntington Prep squad this year. They'll be playing against some top competition. I'm sure you've seen his dunk from the other night by now but I'll link it anyway ;) He said on instagram he's not a naturally left handed dunker btw.

Rewatched the condensed OSU game....

I rewatched the game and here are my secondary reactions:

OL had a rough game in pass blocking, but Purdy and the coaches did not help the situation. When OSU was really sending guy, there often was no checkdown for Purdy, or he didn't take it when it was open.

Hall is a complete stud, and I will never understand why they basically went away from running the ball in the latter parts of the game. The second and 4 at the 20 or so, right before the pick 6 would have been a great time to give him the ball.

Defense really played well in the second half. All three of the big plays in the first half were from guys missing tackles or not being in the right place. Safety play after Elsworth got hurt in the first half was not good at all.

There were way too many passes dropped by ISU, including 2 sure INTs, and one pass that would have given them a first and goal at the 6.

Once again ISU can not make a FG while the opponent seems to make them from everywhere they try.

Purdy threw a lot of really good passes and some scary bad ones. Not sure what has been up with him the last few games, but definitely not as sharp.
