How much did we win by that day?
An ISU classmate said ISU was ahead 28-0 and ISU ripped defeat from the jaws of victory losing 29-28.
Nobody does it better.
Didn’t realize CPR was coaching back then.
That account sounds like satire, but that was the actual final score.
I have no knowledge of details, but losing in that fashion would not surprise me.
And if it DID happen that way — I blame Agnew.
ISU has OU for homecoming '20 — 50 years after 29-28. A good time to exorcise that demon and the home losing skid in the series.

ISU scored on its first 3 possessions and led 21-0 after the first quarter.
OU eventually came back to make it 21-21.
ISU scored to go up 28-21 with 4:29 left in the game.
Sooners hit a long reverse pass on third down to keep possession on their next drive. Finished it off with a TD with under 2:30 to play, and Greg Pruitt ran in the 2-point conversion for the 29-28 margin.
There's too many ISU games like this to keep track of.
Need to keep full confidence in ISU sports at arm's length.
Those were actually the scores from Nov. 12, 1955 (it was 52-0, BTW). Great piece of detail work.
