Here's the different uniform combos we wore last season. There were only 10 different ones. What are your thoughts, or ranking?

Texas (W-W-R) same as Okie State above

Kansas State (All Black) same as WV above

WSU (All White).....

For me I think my ranking would be....

1. KU game (W-R-R)
2. TT (W-R-W)
3. Akron (R-R-W)
4. Okie St (W-W-R)
5. WSU (All White)
6. WV (All Black) I actually really like these, but put them here since black is not one of our colors.
7. Iowa (R-W-R)
8. OU (R-R-R)
9. TCU (Chrome R-W-W) not a fan of chrome helmets, although it's not bad with all white.
10. Baylor (B-R-R) last and definitely least. I don't like mixing the black with anything else.

Fishing Minnesota- Ottertail/Perham Lakes

We are mainly fishing Big and Little Pine Lakes-

Anyone been up that way?
I would be glad to know how things are going up there.
Are the water levels High, low, drought?
I'm not asking for you secret spot, but I wouldn't mind knowing if they have been:
Shallow vs Deep
or Live bait vs artificials?

I am kinda a crappie guy, but whatever bites is fine with me.

Any major Road construction between Des Moines and Perham, I35/I94??

Nothing like a fishing trip to kill time before FOOTBALL SEASON!!!!!!!

RECRUITING: June 1 - Big Man Camp notes

Not too much to pass along from the morning session of camp but here's a couple things.

*** Probably the most interesting guy to keep an eye on this morning was Ankeny Centennial offensive lineman Brady Petersen. The staff has been evaluating him for awhile and almost all the offensive coaches (and Matt Campbell) pulled him aside at different times during the session. He hasn't tweeted anything about an offer at this point but this was certainly an important day in whether or not he will get one. I'll possibly hear more on the situation this afternoon so I'll update if I do. This is definitely a stay tuned situation.

*** I can safely say Greene County OT (and ISU commit) Tyler Miller is the physically biggest prospect I've ever seen at one of these camps. I already knew he was a massive human being as he's listed at 6-foot-9, 273 pounds, but wanted to see him in person. He is every bit that big. He towered over everyone else at the camp and was impressive during drills, especially the one-on-ones at the end.

*** Kuemper Catholic defensive end Blaise Gunnerson will be the main attraction at camp tonight. From what I've heard, this is pretty squarely an Iowa State and Nebraska battle at this point.

*** Iowa State commits Aidan Bouman and Cole Pedersen were the program's first two commits in the 2020 class and they'll be at camp tonight as well. I'll have an update from everything that goes on during that session sometime late tonight.

Nice article on niang and naz

Against all odds, man, he just bet on himself. Period,” said Mitrou-Long. “He had some great offers overseas, people pulling him here and there, saying he should have done this or that. And ultimately, if you believe in yourself, and you’re honest and real with yourself, then you can make it happen. He gave himself realistic goals, and followed up with the work. That’s just all it was.”

On That Note - Mamas and Papas

Hey, it's another week and another segment on music we call "On That Note." OTN is a weekly music post hosted by @cyclones500, @CycloneRulzzz and myself.

This week the topic is legacy artists. That is, family inter-generational musical successes. For purposes of this post we're limiting it to Parent-child, Grandparent-grandchild, Or Aunt/Uncle-Niece/Nephew. Since there are so many brother acts, sister acts and brother/sister acts we are NOT including them for this one.

Thanks @HFCS for the topic idea we're using this week!!

Please post a cut by both generations when you contribute - thanks.

Repeat artist postings are okay. Please pick different songs if you do that. Thanks
