Whirlpool Ice Maker Fix or Replace?

I went to get some ice out of our ice maker indoor hopper this morning and the hopper wasn't full like it usually is. I opened the lid to find ice cubes sitting on top of the fingers that rotate and remove the cubes from the tray so they can fall into the hopper. It never completed its full cycle as water never refilled the cube tray. Basically im guessing it just quit/died. I am a DIY guy to a degree but wonder if its just best to replace the whole thing, the ice maker that it is. I did replace it about at least 5 or more years ago. I could throw a circuit board at it, a motor. etc. but by the time I do that I've probably wasted more time and money than getting are replacement. I dare not get a tech to come out an look at it as the service call alone would probably pay for cost of a new one.

Hilton South ≠ Phog Allen East

Open Letter to The Beat Reporters

"Hilton South" is a well-established nickname for the T-Mobile Center. I have never heard it called "Phog Allen East" until this year (and only in a few articles this week). However, it crossed a line when I heard The Beat Reporters podcast casually calling it "Phog Allen East." That is unacceptable. I expect some lazy writer using AI to use the term, but I have higher expectations of our podcasters. In other words, don't defile the magic of Hilton South by letting a Big 12 wannabe team's knock-off version of our concept come out of your mouths.

Youth sports business - viewed by Michael Lewis

Very interesting interview with author Michael Lewis (Moneyball, Blindside, many other best sellers).

Youth sports these days is pretty much professional, thus I posted in here. According to ML the total $ spent on youth sports in U.S. is greater than $ spent on professional sports.
Like a lot of people, he decrees the specialization, monetization and professionalization of youth sports.
He was a big Mike Leach fan and was going to basically live with him to get the inside on college football, then Leach passed away.

I first knew Lewis as a business book author (Big Short, Liar's Poker, Flash Boys). He is a fascinating guy.
