Very tough loss for this staff in every aspect.
Will miss him was a valuable asset on the staff wish him the best at San Diego
Since this broke I doubt it, very important this time of year to get settled in and get to recruiting especially in a new region.
Yep, but this is also good for TJ and ISU basketball that his assistants are getting hired at mid-major programs around the country. It speaks highly of the nationwide respect for ISU basketball.
Agree, sucks but that's the world now. His efforts in these next 14 days for San Diego could be the most important of his career.

That's awesome and I'm happy for him! I'm sure we'll miss him, but it's always exciting to see who they bring in and what qualities they bring with them.
This 100%. If an assistant is hired off this staff every year for a head coach position, TJ will have his pick of good young assistants.

The best oh **** news you can get is an assistant leaving to be a HC.
Blount was a big reason for all their recruiting success in Wisconsin. Will be interesting to see who replaces him.

According to Hines, Blount is expected to finish out the season with Iowa State
I have no idea if he's ready for this type of thing but we have a guy on our bench right now with alot of Wisconsin ties...

Absolutely he will with where this program is but that does not mean this is not a big loss. You want your assistant coaches to find head coaching jobs. He was a big reason we recruited well in Wisconsin, we will rebound but just tough to see him go
