Iowa State added its latest player out of the transfer portal Saturday in Tulsa defensive end Vontroy Malone.
The 6-foot-3, 240-pound player announced the news on social media Saturday evening.
Malone collected 25 tackles for Tulsa last season, along with two sacks and a forced fumble.
He becomes the second addition to the roster at the defensive end position for Iowa State, along with former UNI captain Cannon Butler.
Malone’s addition comes on the same day that Iowa State fans found out defensive end Tyler Onyedim would enter the transfer portal to play elsewhere in his final season.
