Iowa State earned its 12th commitment to the 2025 recruiting class Monday night in Spirit Lake High School safety Ethan Strecker.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound prospect and multi-sport athlete announced the news over social media.

Stecker was a state champion during his junior year and camped with South Dakota as a combination wideout and defensive back.
Alongside his football career, Stecker was a an all-state athlete in both the hurdles and shuttle hurdles during his track & field career.
Stecker is the first defensive back commitment Iowa State has received in the 2025 class, which is currently rated as the No. 57 class in the country by 247 Sports.
