Iowa State men’s basketball is in the mix to land a commitment from former Colorado guard J’Vonne Hadley.

After the Sweet 16 loss to Illinois, the program quickly shifted its focus to building its roster for the 2024-25 season.

Iowa State will have a zoom meeting with Hadley this week, along with Michigan State according to a report from On3 Sports.

Hadley averaged 11.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game for Colorado last season.

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound player was 20-48 (41.7 percent) from the 3-point line and was an 83.9 percent free throw shooter.

Hadley is also a cousin to current Cyclone guard Curtis Jones.

He started his career by playing for one season at both Northeastern and Indian Hills CC before making the move to Colorado, where he has been during the last two seasons. He has one more year of eligibility remaining.
