CFTV: ISU fan Emily Kleiss talks about her wild journey to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — Emily Kleiss, who grew up in Atlantic and attended high school with Cyclone great Bret Meyer, had an eventful trip to the Alamo Bowl. She didn’t sleep for more than 24 hours. She battled bad weather, bad breaks and travel issues of almost every type. But she’s here to cheer on the Cyclones in tonight’s Alamo Bowl game against Washington State. Rob, an Ames native, joined Cyclone Fanatic in August, 2014 after nearly a decade and a half of working at Iowa's two largest newspapers. He spent 10 years at the Des Moines Register and, after a brief stint in public relations, joined the Cedar Rapids Gazette as an Iowa State correspondent three years ago.
