BASKETBALL LATEST:

*** Iowa State will receive a visit from power forward Tyler Wahl (Lakeville, Minn.) on June 12th, as first reported by the Des Moines Register‘s Matthew Bain.  Read more and see highlights from Jared’s article here.

FOOTBALL LATEST:

*** Running back Tyler Goodson (Suwanee, Ga.) included ISU in his top 8 released via Twitter on Sunday.  Joining the Cyclones on the list are Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan State, Nebraska, Wake Forest, Washington State, and West Virginia.

*** The Cyclones made the Top 7 for defensive end Mario Kendricks Jr. (Kissimmee, Fla.) in his Twitter announcement on Sunday.  The other teams included are Virginia Tech, North Carolina State,  Georgia Tech, Louisville, Wake Forest and Virginia.

*** Athlete Kenny Logan (St. Augustine, Fla.) announced Monday on Twitter that he will take an official visit to Ames on June 22nd.  Logan holds P5 offers from Alabama, Boston College, Louisville, Miami, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, and Purdue.

*** Iowa State will host running back Jirehl Brock (Quincy, Ill.) on an official visit June 18th.  Brock has lined up officials with all of his top 5 schools.  He visited Northwestern this past weekend and visits Minnesota, ISU and lastly Iowa in June.  Brock cancelled his Purdue official visit for this weekend, possibly due to another RB committing to the Boilermakers.

***  Cornerback Alex Hogan (Houston, Texas) will officially visit Ames on June 22nd.  Hogan recently released a top 7 of ISU, Utah, Texas Tech, Memphis, Illinois, Indiana, and Colorado.

*** Class of 2021 offensive center Raheem Anderson II (Detroit, Mich.) visited on Monday.  The Cyclones were his first offer on January 30th and he has picked up additional ones from Akron, Maryland, Michigan and Toledo.

*** Defensive back La’Darius Henry (St. Petersburg, Fla.) announced he will visit Ames on June 22nd.  ISU offered in Decemeber and he has P5 offers from Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, Oregon and West Virginia.  He also released a top 10 on Friday including the Cyclones.

*** Lineman Austin Williams (Tifton, Ga.) released a top 10 via Twitter Tuesday that included the Cyclones, and plans to cut his list down to 5 by June 4th.

*** The Cyclones made the top 4 for defensive end Kristian Varner (Hiram, Ga.), which he released via Twitter Friday afternoon.  A recent offer on May 12th, ISU is joined by Tennessee, Louisville and Vanderbilt.
