Recruiting Roundup: June 1, 2018

Iowa State football picked up two commitments last weekend.  The class now has 9 commits and is ranked as the No. 29 class by 247 Sports and Rivals.

The first commitment came from wide receiver Nathaniel Beal III (Houston, Texas) on Friday.  Beal is rated as the No. 92 receiver and No. 697 overall in the 2019 class.  He chose the Cyclones over P5 offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, and Purdue with 13 total D1 offers.  Read his commitment article by Jared here.

ISU received the second commitment from defensive end Corey Suttle (Jefferson City, Mo.) on Sunday.  Suttle jumped 16 spots at the SDE position this week and is now rated as the No. 54 SDE and No. 791 overall (Up 185 spots) for the 2019 class.  He held offers from Indiana State, Missouri State, UNI, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Wyoming.  Read his commitment article here.

The Iowa State football staff will host the first of three camps in June this weekend.  There will be lots of visitors to indicate some interests in who the staff is targeting as top priorities to fill out the class.  There are currently five known official visits for uncommitted prospects lined up for June as well as two more uncommitted unofficial visits.  You can see a list of upcoming visits in the forums, and a list of this weekends visitors at the bottom of this article.
