Taylor-Cortez, who took an official visit to Iowa State for the season-opening win over Northern Iowa, chose the Cyclones over offers from Utah, Arizona, BYU, Washington State, Oregon State and a few other FBS programs.
He is the 16th commit in Iowa State’s 2018 recruiting class and third true cornerback, joining three-stars Jaeveyon Morton and Anthony Johnson Jr. Taylor-Cortez is the highest-rated of that trio.
