Iowa State has added a commitment from three-star Burnet, Texas wide receiver Sterling Galban. The news was first reported by Cyclone Alert’s Alex Halsted and Galban confirmed it via Twitter. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound pass catcher chose Iowa State over offers from Dartmouth, Cornell and Columbia.

Galban is rated as the No. 187 wide receiver in the class and N0. 164 player in the state of Texas. He’s the No. 1,211 player overall, according to 247Composite.
He’s rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals and Scout.
After catching 70 passes 942 yards and 11 touchdowns during his junior season, Galban picked up an Iowa State offer on March 21. He unofficially visited Ames the weekend of April 1.
