One day after Kansas coach Bill Self fittingly called MontéMorris the "best player" in the Cyclones’ 85-72 Big Monday win over the Jayhawks, the ISU point guard became the top player of the week across the land.
Morris scored 21 points while rifling off nine assists (to zero turnovers) in Monday’s win and Tuesday was named the Naismith Award Player of the Week.
"All my credit goes to my teammates," Morris said late last night.
