If you look in to it the spider basically just gets covered in fungus to the point where it eventually dies. The ant thing is really ******* creepy because the fungus actually affects the ants behavior so the fungus has a better chance of spreading its spores after the ant dies.Isn't this how The Last of Us game starts?
