Bunch of athletes here! Reading this thread is like being back in HS again as the guy who was too small and skinny to be good at team sports. My claim to fame in organized team sport is getting hit in face in Little League baseball and covering home place with blood. It was an impressive bleed as folks at my 40-year class reunion still remembered it.
I did run some road races in my late 30’s and early 40’s and did okay for a non-athletic guy. The medal for placing in my age group in a 5K race here in the Twin Cities is my sole sports “trophyâ€. Even though it was not a super fast run, it was the fastest I ever ran.

Tied for 7th in the state of Illinois in the long jump in 8th grade at the junior high State track meet (17' 2"). Never jumped again...
