DT 2 star from texas (bigger body.. with less competion recruiting.. better chance of gettin him)

LB 4 star (psh neb.. we can beat then to a recruit)

OLB 5 star Ill and 3 star from ohio (only prob with ill is grades.. but is closer to home and dont have to compete with flor schools for him)(ohio biggest frame and could be a steal at 3 star)

QB 2 star from Cal ( we have enough at this spot and he can improve on the bench)
also has a bigger frame.. and we can call him sunshine.. (remember the titans..)

ATH 4 star from Bama and 5 star from ohio (bama insane speed and good grades, ohio better grades.. could red shirt to put some bulk on him)

Top ranked at every position except maybe at athlete.

I'm guessing these are some cherry picked recruits to show that stars don't mean anything.

I would take the 2 stars cuz they are the only ones we have a shot at considering the schools that the higher ranked players have after them.

You've got to take either the Ill. or Florida outside LB.

I'm taking the 4* DT for the GPA. The 2* MIKE for the extra beef. Outside the 5* from FL and The 2* from Ohio (Penn St. is linebaker U for gods sake). 2* from Cali at QB (the 27inch Vert says he's not explosive). And the Aths from Ohio and Ala (GPAs and possible more room to grow)

We're not helping you with you NCAA '08 recruiting anymore. Figure it out on your own while you're trying to build a dynasty.

They are cherry picked not to prove that lower ranked recruits are always better (they aren't) but to prove a few interesting points, yeah.

2* DT from Houston may be Brent "Big Play" Curvey.
2* JUCO LB may be Tim Dobbins.

my thoughts...

Haha, well, I'm not very subtle apparently. If enough people like it though I'll do a full "season" of recruiting and maybe even actually give you some video to check out. :)

Point taken.

Recruiting is always, always going to be a crap shoot. It comes down to the coaching and what they can do with what they've got, and that's what's got me optimistic.
