To really get off topic… I can’t (quickly) find 1972 tuition numbers online. Current in -state tuition-only looks like $9,316. Per one source, in 1987 it was $1,390. Adjusted for inflation, that would be, in current dollars…

$3,440.

Draw your own conclusions.

How much of that has to do with living accommodations? I'm sure it's only a small part, but my dorm room was an 8x8 prison cell. Community showers. No air. The stuff I see now is like living in the lap of luxury.

Interested to see what he says in his press conference here at 3.

Yikes. I hope that he at least takes responsibility for putting himself in the situation. I'm sure the kid is feeling vindicated that there are no longer charges, but it'll be telling how he handles himself now.

Agree and I also don’t like that it’s at his attorneys office. ISU doesn’t need distractions.

This is a presser for....Xavier? What a really weird thing to do for someone never actually charged with a crime, nor having gone to court/trial. Can't he just tweet a top 5 and call it a day?

I once got removed from an athletics team, after having not played one bit, and I did not hold a presser 6 months later.

It's possible that he's tried to transfer to other schools, but this investigation and potential of being charged has held up any further discussions.

Yes. It’s being streamed on WHO TV at 3.

That’s why I’m interested and it’s at his attorneys office. Pretty high powered attorney too.

So I'm not able to follow directly but I'm seeing some of the quotes. Looks like XF is taking some accountability for his dismissal, but what's the point of all this?

Pretty honest response from XF on his leaving ISU and taking some responsibility. Though I suspect there are more incidents than just the two mentioned to get on Otz list.

Ames Police did a good job per Al Perrish. Same with Story County Prosecutor.

Is that from his attorney? If so I'm going to imagine he wishes his client hadn't just admitted it was largely his fault for being dismissed...
