Ember Moon wins after Shayna Baszler has her in a cross arm breaker for about 5 minutes - but messes it up for one second and Ember Moon rolled her up for the pin.

Entirely predictable - but it didn't take away from the entertainment value.

And then Baszler attacks her post match.

Almas wins with a top rope-hung hammerlock DDT.

Probably your match of the year and WWE still has 11 months left.

Looks like major upheaval in Bullet Club.

https://www.cagesideseats.com/2018/...nny-omega-kota-ibushi-golden-lovers-new-japan

This all stems back to the night after WK12 when two things happened that evening: Omega failed to recruit "Switchblade" Jay White to BC, and Omega saved Kota Ibushi from being assaulted by Cody Rhodes. Omega and Rhodes haven't been "okay" since.

And it all came to a head last night.

Omega lost his IWGP US Title to Jay White last night and events in the ring (Hangman Page acting as if the title didn't belong to White with Omega ripping it away from Page and giving it back to White with Omega confronting Page face-to-face) led to infighting amongst BC. Omega, in a state of confusion, shoved one of the Bucks which, while they didn't turn on Omega, decided they had had enough of Omega's and Rhodes' drama and left the ring. Marty Scurll and Page also left the ring after he told them to work it out amongst themselves. It looked as if Rhodes and Omega worked things out - but as Omega was leaving the ring Rhodes pulls him back in and nails him with a Cross Rhodes. Scurll and Page rush back to the ring. Scurll gets in Rhodes' face asking him "What are you doing?" and trying to get Rhodes off Omega, meanwhile Page just wanders around the ring in a state of confusion. Rhodes rolls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair, meanwhile Page snaps out of his state and makes the decision to side with Rhodes and holds Omega up for the steel chair shot. Meanwhile, Scurll continues to try and keep Rhodes separated from Omega, not letting him hit Omega with the chair. That's when Kota Ibushi comes running in and clears the ring of the remaining BC members. Ibushi and Omega reform Golden*Lovers.

So what we have is Omega now has beef with Cody Rhodes, Hangman Page, and potentially the Young Bucks. This is different then other times when members are kicked out of the group, as, while confusion is in the air for a minute or three, eventually and quickly they all fall behind the leader and onto the same page. That hasn't happy here. Rhodes appears to have kicked Omega out of BC and Page is behind him. However, so far Scurll and the Bucks aren't on the same page and that's what's really odd about this. You almost wonder if this doesn't lead to an even greater schism within BC, as for quite awhile you've had two different alignments within BC - the face alignment (or, at least, the "cool heels") composed of Omega, the Bucks, and Scurll, and the heel alignment led by Rhodes. You have to wonder if this is the event that triggers major change in BC beyond just Omega being out.
