I'm kindof torn on this one. On one hand TTU might be the best rags to riches story. On the other, I would like to see Huggy's crew get another shot at K.U. on a somewhat more neutral floor.
Tech is starting off playing physical with WVU, while at the same time not bashful about putting up 3 for 3 from 3 range. Could they be our Kansas killers?
It's an even match up as advertised. 23 all with 2:52 to play in the 1H. Both teams shooting an identical, somewhat cool, 39.1% from the field.
Man, you’d have to ice your arms and hands down after being guarded by Carter for a game. Slap slap grab hack. Haven’t seen him get a foul yet. Cameron Lard would have had 20 fouls by now.
He's a competitor. Had some great duals with Monte Morris, and this year with Wiggs. He'll be a tough act to follow in Morgantown, no doubt.
Both teams have gone 10 deep, and won't hesitate to foul as needed. I think they could both make the sweet 16.
West Virginia has to play good defense (not a foregone conclusion this year) to do that, or shoot out of their minds (like they are here in the second half).
