Yes, they shot a really good percentage, both on 2 pointers and 3 pointers. But I think the spacing they created was the key, which allowed for drives to the basket, and also good looks from 3. And of course the defensive effort. Even though Mason was hot early, the shots he hit were very contested, and he couldn't sustain it. And while we were outrebounded by 5, all of the rebounds were contested for the most part, with a lot of hustle shown.

I thought that after he hit the contested threes early they did a good job of really getting up on him and forcing him to put the ball on the floor. He wasn't anywhere near as effective once they started bodying him and not giving him room to get a shot off.

I'd say draining 3s cures everything. Much easier to win when everyone's connecting from long distance. Definitely a feast or famine team this year. Happy to be wrong and glad we weren't one & done.

That's part of it, but the 66 won the game, not the 83.

I was only able to watch the last 10 minutes or so, but man, LW was getting to the rim whenever he wanted to. Most of the time got fouled and also made a layup or 2. This happened usually after Baylor made a basket and helped us avoid one of those dreaded scoring droughts we all know and love. More please.

We seemed to have a generally good balance of aggressive vs. calculated offense, as well as generally aggressive defense today. That plus hitting shots should win us plenty of games, if it can continue.

They were also rebounding and defending a lot better today. Many times that relates to better offense. They played well.

We suck! Fire Prohm! The end is near! Oh wait, we won. I’ll admit to griping a lot lately. Winning does feel good. And you are all very welcome as I was at work and couldn’t watch. Avoiding the jinx once again!

IMO it's not so much that they are feast or famine it's more of shot selection. They are really good when getting great looks like today. I don't ever want to see THT shoot another 3 off the bounce but I'd love to see him shoot every single catch-and-shoot 3 he gets.

Guys played with tremendous energy on both ends of the floor. Jacobson is the unsung hero, he made 2-3 game winning "extra effort" plays in the second half.

LETS GO!

This team is at their best when they're flying around on defense.

Couldn't watch all of today but to me it looked like that was the case...it established some rhythm.

His shot selection is a lot easier to live with on days like today. Love the kid, but he's never met a shot he didn't like. When he almost got the shooter's bounce on a 30 foot jumper there in the second half all I could do was laugh. It's less funny when the game is still close or when he's been off all game.
