And laying an egg in Memphis…Okay. Losing to two G5 teams should’ve helped ticket sales.

What was going on in ‘21?When has this happened recently and did the '21 season sell out for mid-tier conference opponents?
That's the last season coming off of a bowl win.

And indoors….While I agree, I think this is definitely more true for basketball than football. Basketball has a lot more constant action, even with the timeouts, and its half the time commitment.
I guess our fans aren’t that educated. I mean, if you don’t think pas results don’t impact season tickets, not sure there’s much else to say.Sorry, the educated fan doesn’t give a rip about last year. The educated fan sees the potential of the team this year, and understands that last year was last year. Was it disappointing losing to Ohio and Memphis, sure, but we have an opportunity to make a CCG/playoff game, and you rotters are still playing the “We LoSt To TwO g5 sCHoOlS lAsT YeAr”

Yeah. Think back to 2021 and consider what could’ve impacted ticket sales. The season after the most accomplished ISU team ever with lots of guys back.
Even KU that season with the rain was pretty packed but I don't believe it was sold out.
I'm genuinely asking if mid conference games were sold out that season on the regular.
IIRC outside of Iowa, UNI, and UT/OU ISU has a hard time selling out conference games but could be wrong.
We’re simply debating what impacts season ticket sales aren’t we?Not sure if this is one of those cases, but the vessel of grievances is ever going.

Yeah? Explain 2023 to me then. Sold second most ever, after going 4-8I guess our fans aren’t that educated. I mean, if you don’t think pas results don’t impact season tickets, not sure there’s much else to say.

So we’re seriously arguing my assertion that if we would’ve beaten Ohio and Memphis we would’ve sold more tickets this year? Is that where we’re at?People were jacked up to get back in person so I'm not sure if that was it.
This shows big numbers, but not all official sell outs.

Are there other seasons that mid-tier conference games sold out?
I think that if you're the kind of person, like myself, who just loves the atmosphere of the crowd and being in person to see the big plays then going to the games is just kind of in your blood. As I get older however and it becomes more expensive the juice isn't as good for the squeeze. If ISU starts winning 10 or 11 games a year that would become a lot easier of a choice but I don't foresee it getting cheaper to participate in person.
The TV timeouts really have ruined the game environments in person though. They're unbearable if the game is one of those clunkers where no one is finding a rhythm. Big play and change of possession. Time out. The worst is just received a punt. TO. Score on a big play. TO. Extra point. TO. Kick off TO. Just obnoxious.
