- Shot still has a ways to go
- Isn't a great ball handler
- predictable finishing moves

Sounds like a 2003 scouting report of LeBron James

LeBron was getting compared to Magic coming out of high school, his passing, ball handling, and finishing ability were the main things everyone loved about him. So no, that really sounds nothing like a 2003 LeBron scouting report.

Because Golden State's offer wasn't good enough (according to Minnesota). That doesn't mean it wasn't better than Cleveland's. :skeptical:

Golden State isn't going to keep that offer out there much longer, if it's even still available. Kerr has stated that he wants the team left as-is. Odds are that the Cleveland offer is currently the best offer available. Maybe a new offer involving a 3rd/4th team get worked but Cleveland seems pretty set on keeping Wiggins, especially after he looked awesome in summer league last night.

Shooting 7/18 is looking awesome? Either way, no smart front office would ever make a major trade just based off of summer league observations.

He looked physically impressive and had a couple nasty dunks. And nobody is making big decisions based on that game alone, but the fact is you have to consider his potential and if he is showing progress to become a better player. He has lost a ton of weight and has elite athleticism and size.

I expect the Cavs to send a couple players to the Twolves (not Wiggins), picks to another team, who might send another piece or two to the wolves.

But the Cavs can offer 3 1sts Waiters, Bennett, and Thompson which is far, far more than anyone else has offered.

The next best offer is Barnes and Lee with no picks.

If the Wolves want Thompson included in that, they will have to include Kevin Martin and their 1st rounder as well and probably more.

Wake me up when a Bill Self coached player develops in the NBA. Looking at the last 10 years no reason to think Wiggins any different.

Henry, Selby, McLemore, Wright, ? Morris probably best KU has over that period.

I understand you want to put tuco down but Wiggins is by far the best prospect Self has ever had.

Haha, I'm trying. But he has not had a big name prospect develop yet. And I think Wiggins is way to one dimensional to be a star in NBA.

He is immediately at least two dimensional, actually. He will immediately be an excellent defender and will immediately be a quality slasher/rim attacker. He will be deadly in space, which he will have acres of with Kyrie and LeBron and especially if they can get Love.

I posted this in another thread:
And almost nobody comes into the NBA skilled enough to be a stud scorer. Kevin Durant shot 28% from 3 his rookie year and 43% from the field.

Give me a professional player in the 1% of the 1% of elite athletes with an ok jumper and make it his job to find one. Dudes do it every single year.

Durant, Jordan, LeBron, Khawi Leonard, Kevin Love even.

(don't read into those names, just examples of guys improving jumpers over their careers)

Yeah, let's blame Self for guys that were at Kansas for 1, 1, 1 and 2 years respectively. That's brilliant. Maybe their NBA coaches should be held responsible for them not developing in the NBA. Just a thought.

I am 100% certain that no one else on this thread wants to talk about Kansas basketball so please do not venture down that path. You posted this purely to razz me. Next time just send me a private message so other people don't have to read about Kansas on a thread that has nothing to do with Kansas .Thanks!

When it comes to Lebron, you could alway do what the majority of America does and just not care. When you wake up in the morning, you realize your life hasn't changed, no matter how much money he's made, and just go on with your life.

I can't believe this is getting the pub it is second time around. I love BBall as much as the next guy, but the sooner you realize the NBA is WWE2, the sooner you can get on with your life.

It's time for the good guy, who became the bad guy, to become the good guy again, this time. Anyone remember Hulk Hogan?
