Basketball and Football are the only sports that you have to sit out a year if you get a release. The ONLY way that Cyler would have to sit out is if ISU didn't grant a release and even then he would win an appeal easily.

I'm sure that the VT to Iowa transfers thought they would win the appeal also. I don't think Cyler has any grounds for appeal. If ISU doesn't grant his release, he stays or he's done.

More than half the team are seniors, I find it really hard to believe they would leave when we have a shot at a national championship. They don't have any friends, girlfriends, etc. that they would leave. I would expect most, if not, all of the starters to return. Incoming recruits - who knows - really depends on who we hire and how well they can re-recruit.
