Why to hate the Pats

Yea after today's game it is going to be at least another year before people even remember who the 49ers are.:nah:
Never said people don't hate these other teams. I said people are not talking about hating them (until I said something).
When did a casual fan or a fan of someone other than a Raider rival say "I hate the Raiders"? Probably been a while. Many teams I could replace the Raiders with.
Fans hate the teams that dominate a sport. I think one of the few/only teams that were not hated that dominated were the Bulls. Yup, some people hated them but it wasn't like the hate the Pats are fielding.

National professional sports fanbases are born in good times.
See: Yankees, Red Wings, Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Cowboys, 49ers, Packers, and yes the Pats.
Hometown fans are, in general, locked in. Everyone else picks a team at some point and most go with someone who is winning at the time. At least most fans lock into a team and try to hang with them, but the fanbase building happens in the good times.
(and a very small percentage of the population, embarrassingly enough, pick their team because the logo looked cool to them when they were in 4th grade - Go Broncos!)
I know several people who hate the Raiders. I also think even if the Pats blew, they still would be hated. I think it is just the dynasty thing.

Right, the Pats are hated because of their dynasty...of course. Few teams are hated for one-year-wonder years, which the Pats are not.
Their undefeated run and recent narrow escapes are increasing the hate directed at them. Plus, the Spygate thing didn't help any.

Hey now, I am a big dolphins fan and let me refute all of that... ohhh hell, I cannot do it, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. They are terrible. They should just give up this season and not risk injuring themselves. Hopefully McFadden or Tebow come out early so they can get a playmaker.
Yeah, and I pretty much knew that would happen. Seemed like they are still living in the past with the controversial game against the Pats.
I was going to bet the few credits I have left on the game, but didn't get it done in time...phone and dinner distracted me. :realmad:
That is what I had to do... bet what is left on tonights game to try and start slowing building back up. There needs to be a rep for credits trade in program....
