Jefferson is our top returning scorer, so he is the favorite though I think it will be Milan. From last year:
Jefferson - 13 PPG
Milan - 11.5 PPG
Tamin - 10.6 PPG
Heise - 5.1 PPG

Incoming transfers:
Buchanan - 5.4 PPG
Mulder - 8.4 PPG
Nelson - 14.4 PPG

My money is on Jefferson. Feel like he will have the ball in his hands a lot in post and free throw line as point-forward.

But if Momcilovic expands his game to put ball on floor from wing and adds some strength to post up- I could see him being our top scorer. Regardless, I think they will both be at 16ppg +.

Burn me once.. Last year I thought it could be Milan. This year, I hope it is too, because him becoming a more assertive and consistent scorer is what we need from him. But I'm not falling for it this time, I voted Jefferson.

Jefferson and Milan will most likely be #1 and #2 in scoring. Im more interested in who the third guy is.

I think Tamin, Batemon, and Nelson could all be that 3rd guy.

I think Jefferson may be used a lot like we did with Niang where you will see him bring the ball up the floor at times and cause the defense to decide how they will adjust to guarding him once they setup a play. I think who steps up to be that 3rd or 4th scoring threat will be key to the season as well as who bring that instant offense punch off the bench we lose with Jones. Tamin probably is going to be his usual consistent self but I don't see him taking a huge leap in scoring. Milan is the guy I think has the ability to take that next step forward in scoring more too and I agree with others here that it could be close between him and Jefferson as to who scores more. I'm more interested in who is that 3rd 4th and 5th guy in scoring and how much as we really can't rely on 2-3 guys to carry the bulk of the load it needs to be a more balanced attack.

Milan is way too streaky to be ISU's top scorer. Can he be? Absolutely. I hope he takes that next step. I hope Milan becomes ISU's version of Richie Saunders.
