I predict the NCAA will rule in March that White is eligible for the 2010/11 season, therefore he loses this year of eligibility even though he didn't play.

haha, I laughed at this one!

then I realized if he is ruled ineligible, he still will lose a year of eligibility because he technically redshirted last year...

You're joking, I assume, but it did take until March for the Renardo Sidney ruling at Miss. St. last year.

ncaa tourney is still at 65 currently...if they expanded it this year i'd think we would have a good chance with Royce.

It's 68.

96 would have been so ridiculous. Something silly like 75-80% of BCS-conference teams would have got in. But the NCAA needs the money to subsidize every other financially-terrible sport it governs. So stupid.

Iowa State transfer (from Minnesota) Royce White is still waiting on word of eligibility and there's a rumor Royce White may head to Europe to play if he has to sit out another full year -- after sitting out last year at Minnesota..

Any truth to this?

Listening to CFH on the Murph and Andy show on KxNO, there is no word about White's eligibility yet.
Yeah i was listening to that too and like they said why doesnt RW or CFH call the NCAA...granted it might not do much good but its worth a shot

I think he can play an either way tonight since it is an exhibition

No. He cant play even if it is exhibition unless he is cleared. Josh Selby couldn't play last Tuesday when KU played against Washburn.
