What's the weirdest thing you do with food (combinations)?

My wife thinks I'm bonkers because I insist on putting syrup on cornbread, instead of just butter, like it's "unusual."

We used Sorghum when I was growing up. It's pretty good.

I married into a family that pairs powdered sugar donuts and braunschweiger for breakfast as well as putting a slice of American cheese on their apple pie. Neither one is a bad combo. My wife makes chicken and dumplings and then eats the dumplings with grape jelly; have not tried that one and I don't plan to.

When I need a snack but don't feel like making anything, or don't have anything, a little mustard on a piece of bread....boom, snack time

Take off the crusts of bread and flatten the bread with a roller
Throw a slice of kraft singles cheese on each of the flattened bread slices
roll the bread tightly with the cheese in it
take a pan and put some butter in it, put on medium heat
take the rolled up bread and put it in the butter
boom instant grilled cheese taquitos

Baked beans + cottage cheese

When i was a kid i ate cottage cheese + ketchup as a dip with nachos. The thought of it now makes me cringe.

Me and my buddy mix baked beans and spam. That is what a whole meal consists of. I think my lifespan decreases by a year every time we do it.

Try soy sauce on cottage cheese...

This would be a drink combination that qualifies - diet vanillla Pepsi and Jack Daniels. I've never had it but heard it described recently. Pour the 12 oz soda and the Jack into a large cup at the same time. Stop pouring the JD exactly when the pop can empties. Anybody had this before?

One thing people always call me out on is putting Sriracha sauce and a lot of pepper on top of cottage cheese. If you like spicy foods it's quite delicious. Another common one that I used to think was disgusting was putting salt on slice of watermellon. Has a nice sweet but salty taste to it.

I can't think of anything I really do.....but my grandparents used to put milk on buttered popcorn in a bowl. Actually, it was pretty good.

Did this as a kid. Now i just drink milk while eating popcorn.
