Chicago at the State Fair about 1974 or 75? The sky let loose and it rained like CRAZY at the end of the show.

I also was at the CSN concert at Hilton in 1977 for whoever said that. That was a GREAT show.

Hate to admit it but it was the Kingsmen at the Roof Garden in Arnolds Park somewhere around the summer of 65. Sam the Sham was the opening act. First time I saw a guy with an ear ring.:wideeyed:

KISS/Ted Nugent/Skid Row at Five Seasons Center

I remember this one. It was a part of their never ending Farewell Tour. I actually went to the first one in the area which was Moline in April or May of that year. I didn't know if they were going to come around on a second leg so I took my chances with that concert. Then they came around in September and played both Hilton and Five Seasons two days apart. Said screw it and got tickets to both.

Hate to say Swayer Brown at the Civic Center.

First real concert was Bush at Hilton.

I prefer to call it the "original" farewell tour as they had another one 2 years later. And now they're on an "Alive" tour. I was afraid that I would never be able to see them live after that show, and that's why I went.

Heart/Journey at state fairgrounds

1976 - Iowa State Fairgrounds. Heart was the 2nd backup band for BTO. All three bands from Canada, I think the opening act was The Baby's???

I was in 8th grade and it was quite the experience.
