My levels are 800-1050 right now and I’m 48. If you are running at 2-400. That’s normal for a male above 40 but still sucks. You really should just buy it and get your levels up. It’s a crazy difference in quality of life.
Side effects? I've certainly read about some. I also have a fear of the unknown since the long term effects are still pending.

This thread has me reminiscing on the good old days when products with ephedrine were just everywhere and easily obtainable. Could even just get straight ephedrine tablets. The shaking was worth it when I needed to cut 10 lbs in a week before spring break.
I'm pretty sure I almost died from that stuff. Not lying.

This is long term advice but one of the better things you could do is give up gluten, dairy and processed sugar for 4-6 months and then reintroduce some of the fruits to see how you do with them. Your gut lining is most likely in pretty bad shape and avoiding those things can really help. Read the Whole 30 website/book and follow those guidelines. Many, many autoimmune issues are do to our gut lining being trashed.

Not a terrible idea. I see a lot of autoimmune people in my circles going gluten free at least with good results.

Recent studies have shown that the diuretic effects of coffee, tea and soda have been overstated. After a short period of adjustment, your body is able to make use of the water in those beverages and it all helps hydration.

Fascinating. I've always wondered how my college roommate survived drinking solely Bud Light and Mountain Dew for the 2 years I lived with him. Never saw that guy take a sip of water even one time.

I'm not lifting for size or strength any more, but when I was I took a pre-workout supplement called SuperPump Max. It was the most potent pre-workout I've ever taken. It would literally feel like my muscles were about to rip through my skin but I'd have the energy to get through my entire workout with no issues. The side effect? You're in the bathroom between sets because this stuff moves the mail PRONTO.

I drink roughly 15 cans of Coke Zero a day and the only water is the 2 oz dixie cup to take my meds. Been that way for years.
I love Coke Zero. About the only increased price food item I have had a hard time finding a reasonably priced and equivalent substitute for. I have a relative with a basement stocked with Cherry Coke Zero she hoarded like toilet paper before the prices got jacked.

On the gluten thing, husband’s most obnoxious sister has celiac disease. She used to always nag her sister, who has always been a bit chunky, about why she couldn’t lose weight. When celiac sister was diagnosed and quit eating gluten, she became fat for the first time in her life. She also got more obnoxious. Now if you have a big meal and there is even one single item with gluten, she has an absolute fit. You can’t just get one pie crust on Thanksgiving that is gluten free, every pie has to be, every kind of roll, or she will harp that you are trying to kill her.

Jesus Christ, that is way more expensive than the other ones I take. What makes it worth it?
From what I remember there are different types of Omega 3s and some absorb much better and actually get you what you need. It's basically the quality of the fish oil.

Is there a more reasonably priced fish oil? I am certain I need to buy a better product than I currently take but spending almost 70 bucks on the pills isn't something I am down with.

This woman sounds truly awful to be around. No gluten on Thanksgiving would me a miserable experience for those who can and do eat it.

I take Testosterone. Have for 8 years. If you are over 40 and you are not. You really need to investigate doing it. It will change your life. I am not sure why it's not more popular. Maybe it is and people are just embarrassed to admit it. My doctor encouraged it years ago. Now my nurse just orders my prescription. So easy. I don't take the shot. I take the pills that melt under your tongue.
I started taking T booster at age 50 when I noticed my energy levels really dropping. Testosterone is one of the engines to maintain energy and metabolism. I buy a cheap over the counter brand/pill and they state to take 4-5 pills per day for muscle gain, etc. I started with low dose (2 pills per day), at 55 I increased to 3 pills and at 60+ I will up to 4 pills. I don't plan to go above 4. I have noticed that it definitely helps.
Research says you lose 1-3% of testosterone per year after age 40 so you are down 20-60% by age 60. I seem to be on the high end of that drop.

Those over the counter pills don’t really do anything for testosterone. If they did they would be regulated. What he is talking about is prescribed testosterone that can come in a variety of forms and you have to be very careful with it.

It's not more popular because people don't want prostate cancer a few years after taking it.

That’s false information and I have checked with doctors on that exact thing. It’s usually found because people taking testosterone are being monitored by doctors and it’s caught that way. Unless you are a doctor and an expert in that field. Otherwise doctors will say there is no proof of that
