He was pushed after he was out of bounds. Throw the flag. Not a big deal.

I probably would not throw a flag, but it seems like the coach in the white shirt could have made a better effort to get out of the way.

What no dual flag option? One on UNI's #12 for clearly pealing back and blocking back towards UNI defending end zone. Then one on the coach too.

Unless he has a history of similar shenanigans, fired seems too harsh. I voted ejection and penalty from conference.

Pretty solid play by whoever runs the UNI FB account. Get it out there without coming out and bluntly saying look at this guy, even though that’s definitely what they are saying.

Laugh at the player who got lit up by an older dude just barely dropping his shoulder.
this really.. the guy is basically standing there and lights up the WR, hell he is basically one footed even. often times you see the opposite happen in these situations..

I mean the Uni guy was out of bounds and probably not expecting that guy to lower his shoulder

That really doesn’t look that bad. If it happened against Iowa State I wouldn’t be happy but I hardly noticed it the first time I watched it. Also have no idea how the coach laid him out like that

Doubt a player will put his weight into hitting a coach on the sideline. I would hope at minimum a suspension without pay or a fine from the conference would be in order for that. Simply inexcusable behavior for a coach.

The coach that hit him is a retired NFL linebacker (Tim Johnson, 6 years, Ravens, Bears, Raiders). He 100% knew what he was doing.

Should have been flagged. A suspension is in order. Youngstown is long known for being trash so it's not terribly surprising.

#4 for UNI is 180lbs. Coach looks quite a bit heavier than that and likely has some core strength as he isn't that old. #4 is hit unexpectedly and off-balance going into the coach who at first steps back before dipping the shoulder and moving into the player. Not a bad hit, but not something a coach should be doing.

Coaches jump out of the way all the time. This should be reviewed by the conference (saying that as a third party who doesn’t care about UNI).

The coach definitely lowered his shoulder into the player when he could have just taken 1 step to the side or put his hands out and tried catching the player to slow him down. Not a huge deal, but definitely worthy of more than a slap on the wrist but less than getting fired.
