Broadfaced Sac Spider? There are about 40 spider in Iowa and several introduced. Unless you found this in a bunch of bananas or in your suitcase after a trip somewhere it is likely this one: http://tinyurl.com/oap72p5

Definatly not that. I used toget those in the house from time to time until these yellow bastards showed up and those vanished. I said earlier, they came from bags of mulch from menards.

I think it's a wolf spider, anybody in the know that can confirm? About the size of a quarter.

That looks like a rare Disemboweling Jumping Spider. They have been known to crawl into open mouths while people are sleeping and ravage one's intestines from the inside out.

Don't worry though. I think they are only found in Southern California.
