I found The Pacific disappointing when I compare it to Band of Brothers. But when I try to think of it in its own light, I am able to enjoy it enough.

I didn't find The Pacific to be disappointing personally...but holy smokes was it a different experience than viewing Band of Brothers! Almost disturbing! Please don't read this as a criticism...it is a great telling of what went on during the fighting in the Pacific...but I don't know if I could sit through that series from beginning to end again. It is painful! I am happy I watched it and I would like to watch it again...but I think I would skip some of the scenes/battles becuase of the emotional drag those soldiers experienced during the fight. Incredible! I love both series but find BofB easier to re-watch (also, I know Europe was no walk in the park...but the physical and emotional stuff while island hopping was just beyond incredible).
