Sorry, just one of those guys that I have forgotten about. Is he redshirting because he transferred? Forgot what his backstory was other than being Chris' brother.

I wonder if Prohm will run some press next season since we'll have plenty of bodies next season.

I think he's going to be behind Naz, Thomas and Jackson for sure. Obviously Monte as well if he comes back. Then you have Hallice and Jakolby competing as well. We could be loaded at the guard spot. I didn't include Burton in this because I think he starts at the 4 with Malou at the 5.

I bit the bullet and stumbled through the coaches call in show last night. Prohm sounded very optimistic about Nicks chances of contributing next season. Coach was quoted as saying Nick is versatile to defend multiple positions and has a solid shot. I'm excited to have Nick on this team as I think he has a chance to be a very good player.

If we start a 6'4" guy inside next year we are going to get absolutely abused. If it was a 6'4" guy that loved to play defense and rebound that would be one thing but Deonte is not interested in defense at this point.

You're right, Iowa St is known for having a huge front court, that plays stifling interior defense.

Have you forgotten previous seasons when Iowa St's front court consisted of guys like 6-6 Royce White, 6-6 Ejim, 6-8 Niang, and 6-4 Hogue?

In all fairness he isn't going to come out and say "Yeah, Nick sucks. We shouldn't be wasting a scholarship on him." I hope Nick does become a good player for us though.

Based on what? I think he is much better against guys who are not lightning quick guards like he was forced to play against at OU.
