For the past month I've been trying to come up with 2-3 solid resolution's that would be postive for me/others, attainable and trackable. I guess the main one I had was that I wanted to become more of a morning person. I have always struggled to get going early in the morning.....not sure why that is, but I get more done in the AM at work, so it would be to my benefit if I could change these habits.

That's the best one I had since for the most part it's trackable. At this point, however, I have no plan, so if anyone has suggestions please follow up.

I had this other idea that I just wanted to be more positive in general, and I had heard this quote from Oregon State coach Mike Riley who said that "Everyday we have a choice to be happy, or not," I kind of like that quote.

Other than that, I don't know....interested to see other people's ideas.....

Lose less credits on cybookie is my new years resolution. I am doing a bang up job too, down 25k from where I started the year.

I didn't make any bc I would have broke it by now. I was thinking about trying to not be so moody, but that would never work :daydreaming:

Personally never saw the point in making them. Dec. 31st is really no different than July 31st to me - other than it's damn cold around here and I gotta remember to write the new year on my checks.

The point being, if I need to do something differently with my life - the new year shouldn't be the reason to start it. IMO, it's just a crutch used for a reason to start/stop a certain program/activity/habit/etc.

If it works, great. But often times, very often, these new years resolutions last about as long as a typical Hollywood marriage.

Jeesh, I think he was just asking for fun.

Like to see how many people said "to lose weight" or "to quit smoking". It's cliche, and as you pointed out many don't work.

But its a "new" year, therefore change is a very popular theme. No one if forcing you, try to have a good time with it.

I'll take the bait and go with the entirely worn out "lose weight" option.

Yup, lose weight and quit smoking have to be the most often uses and most often "failed".

Just my opinion on the subject, never said anyone couldn't have one.

1) Find a better paying job.
2)Lose weight thru exercising more.
3)I need to start sticking up for myself, and not let people walk all over me.
4)To learn the basics of a computer better .(Excel, Word, and other programs.

Those are just a few of what I am expecting to do this year.

1. Drink more and think less.
2. Gain weight to look like everyopne else.
3. Give less at church so they do not overspend on their roof.
4. Smile less so I do not look too obvious.
5. Lose more CyCredits so I do not feel so well endowed.
6. Do a better job as a bettor on Clone games.
