It has to be people with their cruise set at 1 mph over the speed limit. You know, the guy who takes 6 miles to pass a car because he doesn't want to speed up.

People that can't piece together the concept of fast lane/slow lane on the interstate. It's not that difficult people!
Slow drivers in the passing lane, with my irritation doubling when they speed way the hell up after they get by another car.

When semis are governed between 68 and 71 MPHs try to pass each other.

When people wait until the last second to get over & exit. Could have just gotten behind me & exited smoothly, but instead you insist on cutting me off & swerving onto the off-ramp.
When people drive thru solid white lines when merging onto the interstate. They're there for a reason, dipwad.
When people don't understand the concept of merging. I'm talking about the little old lady who damn near comes to a stop to let a car merge in front of her. They don't get that if you just keep going, that car can slide in behind you just fine.

Not on the highway, but what really torques me off is when I pull up to a red light and the car(s) in front of me in the left lane do not have their signals on for a left turn. The light changes, they pull ahead about 4 feet and THEN they signal. I try to stay out of the right hand lane when I'm going straight so other drivers can turn right on red but these idiots are making it impossible to be courteous to other drivers.
I'll throw in people who come to Des Moines thinking they are in the big city........and then just flipping stopping in the middle of the street when they get lost.
Please, Des Moines tourists, do not just stop in the middle of your lane if you are lost. Pull over and get out of the flow of traffic. This isn't a gravel road and the people behind you are moving with speed.

So damn annoying when I'm cruising along at 79mph on I80 and bout ready to pass a group of semi's going 70 when the one in the rear veers into the left lane and takes 10 miles to finally get around the other semi while going 71..

What irritates me? People who ride on my back bumper on the four-lane when I'm passing somebody and my cruise control is set for five-to-six mph over the limit.
Settle down, speed racer. You'll get to where you're going. I'll be back in the right lane as soon as I get past this guy. Oh, yeah, and don't even think about flashing your lights at me. Trust me, that isn't going to make me go any faster.
On the other hand, my wife enjoys cruising in the left lane even when she's not passing because it's "smoother." Yeah, I don't care for that.
I agree. I-80 is awful. All semis do is pass each other and they take forever to do it. I don't notice this as much on I-35
Another thing that annoys me is when somebody passes you on a two lane road and then slows way down so you end up passing them again when my speed is constant.
