I miss water being warm enough to swim in comfortably. Here in the northern PNW only the shallowest lakes and rivers get warm in the summer. Anything deeper than 10 feet or so never gets warmer than about 65°. That's cold for swimming and takes a few minutes to acclimate. The saltwater never gets above about 55° and can cause hypothermia during the heat of summer without a wetsuit. Even our little inflatable backyard pool never gets warm since air temps always drop into the 50s overnight and it's not humid.
